Clayton showcase NUE Biosolutions range at a bumper 2024 Groundswell Festival.
Posted on 01 July 2024
Up to 8,000 visitors were expected to the Groundswell Festival this year, which was likely to be a record attendance. The event is attracting more and more growers and agronomists every year who are looking to farm in more sustainable ways to maximise yields while protecting their soils and increasing soil health and biodiversity.
With blue skies, sunshine and very warm temperatures, the Clayton team, supported by members of their technical partners PlantWorks Ltd were pleased to interact with a number of growers and agronomists over the two days. There was a good level of interest in Clayton’s NUE Biosolutions with tailored products available for a wide range of crops including wheat, oilseed rape, sugar beet, potatoes and maize. The BASiS points Knowledge Trail which Clayton were part of also attracted a lot of farmers and agronomists too.
“The event has a completely unique feel and atmosphere to it within agriculture, and all the discussion tents were completely packed out with visitors listening to technical talks around soil health and related issues. With very innovative and technically minded growers in attendance, being able to showcase our NUE Biosolutions which are based on Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria we were able to explain more clearly how they are able to provide better nutrient use efficiency in a variety crops”. explains Jessie Boden, Business Development Manager.
